...why not buy a computer for that price? And sell your current? There's plenty of computers out there which are able to play GTA SA and other games which aren't that demanding, you can get one for a really small price.

Gateway computer, they suck but they can play GTA. The one I am using is a deskstop for 800 GB and it only cost 300 some dollars.

It -obviously- is. Those are better specs than my pc, and I run SA rather well thank you.

I guess you just don't get it..
I'll say it the 100th time.
My PC wasnt designed for games, we bought the cheapest in the store! We get a BSOD after two-three hours of playing on ANY game!

It's not the computer. It's something else.
I have a great computer, and things like Half Life 2 work, but then Mine Craft gives me a error and wont even start, with some graphics card error :/
I have a very faulty graphics card =/

Lock this. Fixed my computer, SA works good on 1280x1024 and High settings.
But... I won't be too active here.
