~IC Issues~ Empty ~IC Issues~

Post by Arnold Angel Sun May 08, 2011 4:41 am

Over the last few days a problem has sprung up of some of you might know of... The administration team has heard many complaints of the SD Metagaming in there Criminal Records Database.

IRL if you are a citizen of the state, you do have a profile legally, of which the SD can pull up at anytime. If you are RPLY from a different state or from a different country then the government must agree with the SD to get the information. If you are not either of those and the government does not give the green light for SD to get your profile, the SD do have a right to Question you.

Thank you.

Admins: If you see any SD members possibly MG there forum posts of criminal records please report it to the Criminal of which the record concerns and Edward Moriarty.

Information can also be gotten by objects that have been confiscated, like cellphones, ID's, health cards, which people usually carry around. Everything is confiscated before the person is put into jail so in my opinion you can get the information easily.

It is quite easy to get information, But everything must be RPED. That is why I suggest to all SD members to take SS or Movies of RP's like these.

I'm rather sure that the state keeps a detail of your basic information.
Each Organization will keep a local database entry of you once you've popped up on the grid. The government organizations share the information only when its needed, Otherwise its kept in their local database (Unless the United States has gone through a radical information centralization in the last few years).

If you have any of these items, There should be a database entry for you.

Commerical Bussiness and Government Organizations keep records of people they are involved with, The amount of time it takes to retrive this information depends on the centrality of the organization in the world (The FBI will be able to call up a full record of a subject much faster than the SD if the subject has history outside of the SD's juristiction. Same goes for the SD pulling up local information, Because if the FBI wanted a local database file of say, Ray Black... It would have to ask the SD for the file, The SD would then have to send the file to the FBI for the FBI to read). Even non-government organizations like private health and privately owned gun stores keep information of their customers. It all depends on how much information you have to give when you sign up or buy something.

- Drivers License (Current Adress, Registered Phone number)
- Firearms License (Extensive check)
- SSN (Will link to your name)
- Medical Card (Name, Address, Health Record)

Quite true, FBI is allowed to view all and any profile that is within the USA or as we know San Andreas. If you are out of the country and i mean the USA the FBI still has your profile but it takes time for them to bring it up, they would have to contact the country's embassy of which your from. SD is allowed to take up profiles, out of there jurisdiction they have no authorization whatsoever unless given permission by the FBI or CIA. SD is a step down from the FBI, the FBI may takeover any investigation ran by the SD with permission from their director.

If the crime is not under what the FBI deals with then they may not. What does the FBI deal with? The Federal Bureau of Investigations handles only federal offenses, because anything at a lower level is left up to local authorities. Terrorist threats, bribery and organized crime are some of the bigger situations than an agent deals with. Every agent must be an expert in United States law, law enforcement procedures and criminal investigating.
