But since you are not anywhere near the professional level of designing a website, or near the level of making one look amazing. Its more of a downgrade to what we already have. Its a nice website, but unless its amazing, no one will want to get used to it.

First, Maybe he isnt but we do have someone who is. Secondly this is not our forum this is ForumsRPG, we have huge plans for this community. I have a saying and maybe it has been used by other peope.

This forums as of right now of which you are looking at limits what we can do, you might not be able to understand what I mean, but we can do many things on the other site that we cant on this.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW FORUMS, Almost no one likes it, and pretty much lacks effort...in the design point of view, but you still took the job to make it, i appreciate that, but i think it's kinda.....shitty to only do it because THE SERVER CREATOR gave you permission, you should've asked US if we would like another forum.

And i think that this forum is OK, it's not from someone's domain (I mean private domain), it's loaded with users, a theme, and long history of posts, while in the other hand....we have the .net forums....which belongs to a domain and from my P.O.V lacks effort....and like Chris said: "It's more like a Downgrade".

Yer all very silly people when it comes to SSL certificates you know.
Ever noticed why like, pretty much all forums dont have one? There's a reason for that.
Also, i've seen severs go down that route before. Place more effort into silly things like, websites and crap than into the server itself.
Remember, this is a forum, all that happens here is chattin shit and organising things into text posts. Y'dont need thousands of them and damn twitter to make a sserver better, if anything, it make s a server worse. Less time focused on the server itself.
Spending eenergy on resoucres focusing on a website for a community that plays on a specific game is very, very silly. And hot damn i've been part of enough gaming communities, SA-MP or otherwise, to know how shit goes.
Go on the other RP forums websites, check their layout. You know what they do, they get it done and then they keep it at such a level that is needed.
Y'dont make a successful server becuase you have a goddamm domain or a flasy hyper-forum. Y'make a successful server becuase you put effort INTO the server.
The biggest mistake you can ever make is mixing the server with the forum on such a level.
That, is, ofcourse, excluding features such as a UCP, which are there for damn clear reasons.
But, we dont need a UCP. And our server, if you havn't noticed, just doesnt NEED to upgrade yet.
Kieran, if you want to move us to another website you made, that's great. Go and make one and when the time comes when we need to move to it, we can! And when we do, eventually, it can be as good a website as you put the time into making it.
I see whats going on here. And i smell a doppleganger. Don't go down that route girls. SA-MP servers are NOT meant to become multi-gaming servers. Shit goes wrong, bad stuff happens.
I'm seeing lots of short term dreams and hopes of what could be, without a long, hard think about the long term.
You'll slip up and take this server down with it, and y'wont realise until its too late.
Remember, the magic happens down on the ground floor. In game. And that's where your priorities should lie.

Listen, I'm not trying to be hard. But you shouldn't fix something if its not broken. Honestly this is all we need right now. A samp server does not need anything more then a forum. The forum on the website you made does not have a theme to it like this one. Its just blank and boring. This has the vampire theme right up top. And the website just isn't that great. Its good from being made from scratch but just because you made it and took a lot of time into it, doesn't make it amazing or look perfect. If you made these as a hobby and got amazing at them and they all were perfect, then we would like it, but this is just something we would start off with and if we want something new, as I said before, no one will want to get used to it unless it is absolutely perfect.

I believe they want to expand this community to other games.... But I don't think that's priority number 1 at the moment... We haven't got a very stable base in SAMP yet... And that's whats needed before expanding.... Two feet.

For the love of God dont go down the route of trying to expand a SA-MP server into tother games. Keep the SAMP server as the SAMp server. Seriously,you wanna play on another game with a community. Join a CLAN. Cause guess what, they've been doing it a lot longer than you have and they know their games from top to bottom. And they're damn fun to play with. Take my word on that, i'm in one.

Don't mix SA-MP with other games.
