Okay so i was jailed in the SD jail for 20 minutes,That's alright no problem.But the FINE is 1200 dollars What the Fuck.Litterally.1200 is taking 25% of my money really.

SUGGESTION:SD should be able to choose the fine themself really.I have a lot of patience for the time but the fine is to much.It's going way to far and i'm sure many people think the same here's an example

I mean either let them choose the fine themself or no fine or set the crime like 10 bucks or so per minute but losing 1200 for a jail sentence went to far.I've had it.Peter or Rudy change the system please.Some people can even get in debt with that amount.

I agree with Nick, it needs to be lowered to something like $10 or $20 per minute, which would lower 20 minutes down to a couple hundred dollars, not over 1k

And we can't let that happen. So please. lower the fines? yeah IRL fines are hefty. 1/2 g weed = 6-700 Dollars.. believe me when i say im the forums Stoner. So yeah please lower the fines? it will encurage people to rp more and give SD something to do

Well, I got jailed for 40 minutes and fined $2400. It was yesterday, I think. So anyways, I learned a lot from that OOCly and ICly. I'm afraid to get caught and go to jail again, just like in real life. I had 18k, from that big fine it went down to 15k. I was pissed, but I'm dealing with it.

I agree that $60 is hefty, but I think $10 or $20 is a REALLY big decrease from that. I think $45 per minute or so and a slight decrease in the jail time for some offenses could be a reasonable change.

That's only my suggestion if a tweak happens--I'm personally fine with the current system. Can't pay the fine, don't do the crime. Or at least, don't get caught...

In my opinion it's good, it keeps crimes from going too far and everyone from shooting people. It encourages RP because it makes a person do a crime in secret, so it can be hard to be found. It's hard to icly escape cops unless you're part of an organized crime. Doing crimes in public, what do you expect, ofc you'll get caught without some organization.

If you don't want the fine, don't do the crime... As Nazz said.
In real life, if you're a criminal, you have to be smart. You need a good plan.

Example: Let's say you want to rob a bank. You would obviously wear a mask and wait till the cops aren't around. Tell one if your friends to wait outside and call you when the cops are coming. When they come, you would need to have a van with one of your members in it.

That's just an example of a succesful bank robbery. It ain't always succesful, but it should be.

The thing is, if you just come in the bank by yourself, you would obviously get caught...
Be creative in your crimes, try to make it succesful, and you'll not get a fine.

Be organized, wear masks, and not the usual green clothes. Mask yourself or put something on your face to cover it. That increases RP for both sides.

We can't lower anything without the script being changed, charges will not be lowered because you lose money. As said before, don't get caught.
