Get rid of the phonebook!

It's the most disgusting feature any RP server can add.

It's purely used for Metagame, 99 percent of the time.

Oh, Kirki Sokolov is wanted, /phonebook Kirki, go go go!!!

Oh Kirki Sokolov changed his number IC, /phonebook Kirki, go go go!!!

So they have to sit with no phones, so they can't contact their friends or anything.

Also, people probably use it to call cops randomly too.

And just call random people.

It's just a pure lame command.

LSRP has it. It's realistic. Metagamers get ajailed. I can see what you mean though, but it's not a problem, I'm sure Jaxson is working on a phone turn off to cops can't trace it or call it or something.

I see what Shaw means, but you can report them. The only thing I see what can be done is that you don't make it permanent; you lose it when you log out/time.

I agree with Jay highly. I cast my vote on yes, mostly due to the fact that all can metagame this without actually getting punished. They should atleast get a stern warning, ATLEAST, and I've seen people getting away with this too many times. As well as It's annoying get people PMing me if I have my number in the phonebook and blabla. I'm basically against this system, as I'd rather prefer a more of IC based system. Generally increasing the RP and getting far less annoying PMs and not even nearly as many. Which basically means, more RP and less OOC.

We should have a personall phonebook where you can add your own contacts into it,so you would have to type out the number and name by yourself

Have it so it does not tell you if you put a number in right or wrong so,If you do put it in wrong youll have to find out the persons number ICly instead of /phonebook-ing them an adding it

We need an system like:

/phonebook [See your saved numbers]
/addnumber [To add an phonenumber Ex: /addnumber 101010101]
/removenumber [To remove an Phone-Number]

There's a command, I don't remember what it is, you will have to ask Rudy or someone else.

If it was enabled for all players it would definately be a reasonable substitute for removing the phone book totally.

Because for 90 percent of the server at the moment, there are two options:
- Get called by people very easily.
OR
- Have no phone at all, so you can't even speak to your friends.
