Different Weapon License's And The Process

Weapons Licenses

Normal Firearms license

If you require a firearms license you must start by filling out a license application form, this form will be checked and a hand written letter recived from the sheriffs deparment, if you have any criminal records or are know to the police you will be automatically disqualified from the application procese. On completing the first part of the you will be then called down to the Sheriffs Deparment for an interveiw with the sheriff/Under sheriff where you will be further examiend in person, if you manage to complete this stage you will be given a basic training course of the weapons the license applies to. only once all three stages are complete and the payment recived will you recive your weapons license.

Hunting license

If you want a license for hunting you must apply the same way as before and go through the procese, however you may only gain a maxium of level one license for hunting. This type of license would only be valid for use in forest or hunting areas any attemtp to use the weapon in a public place will result in your arrest and the license being revoked.

Companys use of weapons

If you are in a protection company where the use of firearms is need for your job, then your employer must contact the SD with a written letter requesting the license for any employees. Any weapons license haded out for protection companys is a license for the company and not for your self if caught using the weapon or brandishing the weapon while not at work you will face a jail sentance and the license being revoked.If you ever leave or loose your job you will loose your license automatically.
