Creepypasta (So I tried making a game...)

Should have put a warning that if you can't handle cute little pranks or screamers don't bother playing it. Oh well, sorry.~ Not that anyone got mad that I scared the shit out of them or anything.~

Anyhow, what I just used was a form of creepypasta/scareware. Creepypasta is a type of media or reading that's much different from normal horror movies/books/games in the way that they're presented. They're often short and unnerve you in a way much different than many things on the horror market today. What mainly separates them is the way these usually pop up...normally without any trace of the original author. When going through them, you're unsure what to think of it. It may begin as something innocent, such as being based off of something completely normal (Lavender Town from the old Pokemon games for example)and progressively becomes more and more strange. That or it is presented in a very realistic format(Rasper journal) and told through actual photos of sorts. Creepypasta can also be put into the category of urban legends as well, since some of them become famous enough to be classified as such.

The particular scareware I featured in this topic is actually not of my creation. The game is the third in a series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic based fangames that have become infamous now for their content. It's one of those pieces where no one knows the true author of course, but only serves to scare you once rather than keep you up at night thinking too much of it(though some of those images were good enough to have an unfortunate staple into my mind). Gameplay videos are also found on there if you happen to be under the age of 13, have a mental condition, or or just plain scared of an innocent prank of a game.

I made an adventure platformer in Game Maker.

It's got a small size and shouldn't take too long to beat, and I'd appreciate it if you give it a try even if it is ponies.

Also, try not to spoil it for other people once you complete it. I went through the trouble of writing a plot for it.

Also there's an AdFly before downloading just wait a couple seconds and skip it. If there's any download links that aren't Mediafire on the first page, don't click any!

Trying it right now, will post later with my opinion :3

EDIT:Okay, begun playing. . .Music was annoying like hell, lowered the sound to minimum. . .Ran to the left for like 5+ minutes. . .Realised it was actually a loop of terrain, begun to run to the right. . .Music got horribly annoying, turnt off the sound.Jumpt over the holes. . .Realised it's a loop aswell and suicided then. . .Fuck you.Even if I didn't have my sound on I still got shocked by the sudden image.It wasn't funny at all, neither do I want others to go trough this and be forced to reboot their PC because of a fucking screamer wich doesn't shut the fuck up or allow you to exit the game.Yes, the game doesn't allow you to exit it. . .Try whatever you want, ESC doesn't work. . .alt+F4 doesn't work, ctrl+alt+delete doesn't work either since it doesn't show your cursor, even if you try to work around blindly it won't allow you to click anything.

FINAL CONCLUSION:Waste of time and annoying like hell, lost some drops of respect for you because of it.
