Yup, my opinion won't matter for shit. But houses are 25k? That's horse shit. I had to deny several applications because of no active address while I was myself RPly on a hotel. This might be a RP server, but no one has the time to sit here 16 hours per day working hard IG. What will that earn you IRL? Nothing. Still, at least you make some effort to RP where your ass-portal cash comes from. We should gaf because people roleplay all the benefits of being employed in a decent position- considering we don't have to use our script money for things like food, electric/gas bills, internet bills, any sort of subscriptions we might have, car payments (because we're all rich enough to purchase them in cash), house payments (since we're still rich enough to purchase them in cash), furniture, stupid knick-knacks to decorate the house with, and about a million more things- our characters have a bunch of pure cash for no reason but being ass-stupid with. If we were to compound what our characters make, on average, between us being online for a few paychecks a day that represent the average played time across the server, into a two-week pay period, they'd all be high-end dentists, corporate attorneys, and chief financial officers of successful start-up companies.

It's one thing when someone makes an effort to RP their character being a normal person, but as it stands Palomino Creek (and most of Red County) seems to be full of a bunch of young, super-sexy, super-strong, unemployed and lovin' it, rich, carefree manchildren. Yet most people on this server have no idea where their character's money comes from. And before people start saying "WELL MY CHARACTER GETS HIS FROM HIS OFF-SHORE MONEY LAUNDERING BANK ACCOUNT HUR"- most of the server falls into this situation.
