Sirens?
What do you think about adding a police siren command, which will add a police siren on the roof, or on the dashboard of a car? Like, /siren [1-2]
It would be available for certain vehicles (like Premier, Bullet, Buffalo etc.). It would provide an oportunity for the SD and FBI to use civilian vehicles, with civilian license plates and place a siren on top of it.

Re: Sirens?
Is it able to actually add the sound to it?

Not sure about the sound, but it would at least create visual effect on undercover vehicles that would be visible, almost better than the standard GTA SA police sirens/lighbar

Re: Sirens?
Alright, if the existing sound for the sirens could somehow be added, that would be great.

Re: Sirens?
Isn't there a way to broadcast sounds to players in 0.3d?

Yep, seen a whole radio station full of songs broadcast on vehicle's radios on this one server.Ariel Virai wrote:Isn't there a way to broadcast sounds to players in 0.3d?
On topic, supporting this suggestion to be done if possible, seems great.

Re: Sirens?
Broadcasting sounds to players would cause lag to certain players, including myself so no streaming.

Yes. In 0.3D you can add your own sounds.

Re: Sirens?
Its called a Sound Plugin and it never lagged for nor anyone else in the server I played. They made simple songs and put commands in cars like: /playmusic [1-20], /stopmusic

I know what it is, but it uses Internet connection. I play on 64kb/s, you seriously think that if this gets accepted that I will script it in?

Hey, noone's asking you to script it. We got plenty other developers.

Sound is not necessary and it wouldn't turn out good. If you want script it yourself and see how it would turn out. So loose the attitude.
EDIT: If this isn't "eye catching" to civilians, then really...
