Recently I've been trying to see if I can enhance the diversity of the role-play by starting off a legitamite "pharmaceutical service". However, I need the opinions of the majority to see whether this will be feasible or not. I can't just barge in and sell things that will effect role-play.
The pharmacy will practically consist of the following drugs that some-body could buy.
-To prevent IC abuse, the pharmacist may need to take details of the patient, such as telephone numbers.
-To prevent OOC abuse (using pharmacy products that he hasn't baught), I will keep a register of who bought which items, and in what amounts. So if people use something like the adrenaline injection for an RP, all you'd need to do is PM Anthony_Weber to see if the person REALLY bought the product or not.
- In addition, to prevent OOC abuse, use of these products is disallowed if Anthony_Weber is offline.
The pharmacy will practically consist of the following drugs that some-body could buy.
- List of Pharmaceutical product Classes:
1. General anti-dote (10$) [Will cure a variety of poisons, except for rare ones]
2. Specific anti-dote (50$) [The pharmacist will need to take a blood test, and after 1 payday will be able to provide a specific anti-dote, just in case someone was poisoned during an RP.]
3. Adrenaline injection (10$) [Helpful in situations where someone has a dangerously low heart rate, but could also be abused in order to increase the physical performance of the person, both in terms of strength and speed. Taking too much will result in heart failure.]
4. Portable bandages (5$) [Just to RPly stabilise wounds, but no health gain effect.]
5. Painkillers (5$) [When characters are low on health, I guess they would be in pain. So it only makes sense to go get some painkillers, even though these would not fix up the wounds.]
6. Disease managing drugs (1-20$) [Just for general RP, everyone gets a disease every once in a while.] (e.g. diazepam for anxiety, ciprofloxacin for infections, SSRIs for depression, etc.)
7. Sugar-free sweet products (1-5$)
