Mechanic Job
I would like to post a suggestion for a mechanic job IG
If you car is damaged and you are on duty you can RPly take out your toolbox from your van and fix a car Users can call the mechanics's number
By using the needed commands and all that you can type /repair when your in the car and the engine is running
Commands: /repair(the vehicle your in)
I think is should improve the RP
So tell me what you think about it thanks

I mean.. I support the idea of having more jobs. But I dont really see where someones opinion here is needed. Mechanic job is a basic feature for just about any RP server so I cant really see what really needs to be said about it.

No, no one will role play it and most likely abuse it in chases. Eventually, at the rate the SD is declining ever since its loss of its original leadership the cops will start using it just like they do in SARP.
I believe its only fair if you have some ways to either force role play into it, or make a waiting time.
1. You could have a few specific garages, one in each main town(Dillimore, Palamino, and Montgomery). To be able to /repair, you must be in the garage and wait 5 seconds or something, so you can't drive in and pull out in the middle of a chase.
2. You have to stop the engine of the car, and type /repair and it would have maybe a 20+ second countdown, if you wanted you could have "levels" like other servers. Where it starts as a huge countdown but the more you do it, you level up and get shorter countdowns.
I believe its only fair if you have some ways to either force role play into it, or make a waiting time.

Because 'repairing' your car can only be done currently by respawning the car at the same location (For all I currently know). I would suggest a time countdown in levels; Level 1 has a 120-300 second countdown (Length must be long).
I would also make it a faction or trait humans have to stop overuse. (Also a $200 surcharge on the mechanic, Who would ask for the money prior to repairing)
