Criminal Weapons

When i arrested armed people IG they said in OCC Local Chat "RPly take the weapon".

My suggestion is: New rule that says "If you commit a crime armed with a weapon such as a firearm, there's no such thing as RPly take the gun, if you have the gun on you, it should be taken away by the law enforcement."

Because that way, you get RPK'd in a shootout and you say "RPly take the gun" and come back with the gun to do a drive-by or commit another crime with it, if you applied for a firearms license USE THE FIREARM PROPERLY.Such as self defence and to help Law Enforcements IF THEY ASK YOU TO DO IT.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMMIT A CRIME DONT WHINE ABOUT HOW YOU LOST YOUR GUN IN THE PROCESS, YOU NEED TO THINK ABOUT YOUR ACTIONS, IF SOMEONE TAKES YOUR WEAPONS, DONT WHINE, YOU ASKED FOR IT WHEN YOU COMMITED A CRIME.

I agree , with this we can reduce crime IG and no more RPly take the weapon .

I'm no Law Enforcement but I do agree with this. It's better to actually take it during the RP, since most case are that when they re-use it or such it might be a bit power gaming. Tho' this is just my thoughts over this suggestion, but yeah I support this idea to be brought into action at the server.

Well actually, a weapon is an object, it doesn't go back with the person if taken. Its evidence and it stays with the police if taken. It cannot be used again by another person, it would be metagame to create a double of that object, one in the station and one being carried by the person.

Yeah that's kinda the point I was getting into in which Kevin stated, so maybe if the player might want to continue doing crimes, he'll need to buy a new one or get it elsewhere from an arms dealer which can be much more into the terms of RPing.

I'll have a speak with other admins to get it approved and "upgraded" as a new server rule.

I'm in support of this. You have to script and RPly give the weapon to continue the RP, Otherwise it is metagaming the creation of the new weapon suddenly on your back.
