Weapons and licenses Empty Weapons and licenses

Post by Caleb Simms Thu Jul 14, 2011 7:44 pm

Right, first off people need to know what weapons can be bought by each license and what guns are legal and illegal 'cause some persons got no clue.

Licenses

Level 1 Clearances - Deagle, Colt .45, Silenced Pistol, Knife, Katana, Kevlar, Brass knuckles.
Level 2 Clearances - Level 1 clearances, Shotgun, MP5, Country rifle.
Level 3 Clearances - Level 1 and 2 clearances, M4, Sniper rifle, Combat shotgun.

Weapons

Now all the weapons stated above are LEGAL. If you are seen with what's not above, it's obviously illegal. For example: AK-47s, TEC9s, UZIs; these are illegal.

Knifes, brass knuckles and katanas can be bought without a license.

Then they're using illegal firearms, no Police or Sheriff's Department in the world uses a .50 caliber handgun on duty....

We scriptly use a Deagle. Very few people RP it as a Deagle .50.

A police force would never use a .50 cal because that would cause a lot of damage to their targets. Police officers aren't interested in killing their suspects if they can avoid it- if they shoot people with a .50 cal, there's really no change for them to get up. On top of that, .50 cals are very heavy firearms and have a very strong kick, so it makes for terrible rapid cover.

Beside, if you've seen the actual size of that caliber handgun, you'd realize its almost impossible to carry. Basically, Law Enforcement Agencies will use, 9mm, .38, .357, .44, or .45 caliber bullets. All bullets will hurt like hell, but bullets of these calibers will require a well placed shot for an instant kill. The .50 caliber is so large and moves at such a high velocity, it would literally blow a golf ball size hole in a suspect, or larger depending on the range. Like I said, we scriptly use a Deagle, but we don't have to RP it as so.

AK47's are not illegal, they get the thing that makes guns automatic removed and are used in collections or investing. How? Here's how: The USA does not allow any further import of automatic guns for civil use, so every year there are less and less AK's out there, which rises their price couse they get rarer. Simple as that.

Also i suggest making the wep system seperately with guns and ammo. More realistic and IRL if you have an illegal AK, you can legally get cartridge to it since the same size is used in a few high powered hunting rifles
