Find somewhere that is going to be in the secondary search, As the revolutionaries will raid the center of the town before individually searching each urban area thoroughly, Or so I hope.
I would try and dress as a non-combatant, As toting weapons in clear sight is a stupid thing to do considering the situation at hand; Invaders willing to kill defenders off with relatively no reason. I would find a handgun from a killed soldier/police officer. Then I would probably try and conceal myself well enough to not be found after the search parties have passed (As after the main search group, The ferocity of the searching will dim and there will be small patrols <- In theory) to try and wait it out until the revolutionaries are drawn to other matters (Which they might do, Considering that it is a revolution... and there are more cities to be annexed.).

Otherwise, If the revolutionary forces besiege the town, I would go into the sewer system and make my way out of the city, However not to a water source. Maybe to the sewage treatment plant, As that would be a low priority target for the Opposition force.

IF this does not occur: 'to try and wait it out until the revolutionaries are drawn to other matters'. I would use this method: 'I would go into the sewer system and make my way out of the city'.

Considering that it was my question, I keep it standing.

They wouldn't last long, the gendarmarie and the army (assuming it's happening in my own country) would move in and eliminate them in a heartbeat. It is considered as terrorism and our military is experienced in such situations.

If I am too desperate and have to defend myself, I would cover the door gaps and window gaps with bleached cloth pieces, and then release a homemade chlorine gas inside, so no one would be coming in to hurt me. I would bring some food with me, and lock myself up in the attic and wait for the army to do its thing.

Apparently, there is a viral outbreak in a city 40 kilometers away from yours. This virus makes people rage, it controls your mind. It makes you turn hostile and have the urge to kill any uninfected people on sight. In short, it turns people into zombies. They know your presence. The infected march towards your city, and they are already half-way near, hoping to brutalise everyone in your city.

tl;dr: There are zombies coming from a city nearby, about to infect everyone in your town. What do you do?
