Jail sentance. Empty Jail sentance.

Post by Terry Winston Sat Aug 20, 2011 12:47 am

Heres my idea, each offence sould be 15-20 instead of the current 5, now this might seem a bit extreme but his my theroy no one wantts to loose that amount of cash and spend that amount of time in jail so people would have some genuine fear of being arrested meaning they would not just do blatent stupid crimes hopfully enhancing roll play because currently no one is scared of going jail its a small price and a short time.

10 Minutes per crime and Double the jail time if they refuse to complain or resist arrest...

Sounds good?

Yer exactly just something to make them oocly fear arrest so that they will actualy rp fear of jail in game. Basically your forcing the player to rp well

Something to fear arrest? Death? Lethal Injection, Electric Chair, Gas Chamber or Firing Squad...SD needs to force CK into heavy criminals...people with at least 5 cases of multiple murder (killing 2 or more people) should be forced to a CK by the SD.

Another good sugggestion the main problem is SD aint feared mailny becauce at the mo for killing what do you get? Like 10 mins in jail and 900 fine but if like ck or 60 min sentance people would be scared of arrest.00

.... And people will be like "OMFG I JUST LOST 10K MOTHERFUCKERS JAILED ME OVER 60 MINUTES OMFG OMFG"
But 10 min per offence would be fine, 15/20 is just too much.

This is the SD high command's choice right? If put into effect, crimes may begin to become more logical.

If SD High Command is interested, I could instead help them draft up a custom crime/penalty list. The way it would work is that instead of just generally giving people jailtime by offense, you can look at each offense they've committed and each one of them would offer a different punishment of money and time. They also all add together and stack.

If they exceed a certain amount of time, it can be a month+ account ban.

If they exceed even more, they can be put up for a roleplayed forum trial as well as an execution.

SD should start getting more involved in the current cases, and also recieve the IC info of most of the crimes, with the info they'd get when needed.

Now for the jail sentence I agree to making it higher, but I don't agree to death sentences.

Yep. Any SMT, Please post here what do you guys think.

I agree with both decisions... I guess, 10 min's per crime is good. and... Forcing a CK for 2 RPK's is TOO Much. Maybe... if someone killed more than 6 people and gets caught... he gets /accountban? Any SMT Please post here.

I think ck should only be for extreme case such as serial killers if you kill like 20 people in one go but defo longer jail times and bigger fine people need to have actual cobsequences for therr action instead of just laughing the sentances off.

Let me put it this way if you knew you would get cked would you plan crimes and not do them in stupid places would it make you fear getting caught the answer yes you would be scared of the cosequences of crime

Crimes in this server are not realistic at all. I got out of my house today to witness two people shooting each other, one with a shotgun one with a gun. Now, this is Red County, not some place invaded by some army. Do your crimes carefully. I mean at that time I was in a phone call doing an actual job, as I work in RedsNeds.

Nick's opinion is important, he has another point of view and has more experience rping a criminal, so I'd consider his opinion.

I support increased jail sentences and possibly a CK (it would make murders more realistic in my opinion)

If this CK thing seriously gets implented...It's unfair to criminals..

Cop:Lol you killed,CK for u

*Level 20 criminal gets account-banned*

That would totally be fair.

It's not just for killing someone, it'd be for killing a few police officers, or lots of people, or doing some serious crimes.

If you don't want to be CK'd, start RPing your character intelligently. You don't need to kill people to RP, that's not a necessary part of gang life.

I still like Cesar's idea of getting those bigger jails and leaving them there for like 6-10 paydays depending on crime.
