Fear.
That's right, Fear and Roleplaying Fear.
Seeings as some people see weapons as toys and men as training dummies, aka not really bothering to RP any fear ( I'm not saying that whole server is NOT RPing fear) I decided to make a small topic about it.
So, what's your opinion on this?

Re: Fear.
I support this idea, a lot of people when see a gun just "laugh" and IRL they would shit in their pants

Re: Fear.
Well sure this is true of course. Being aimed at with a Weapon, would be a point where you can't really know whether you may live or die from being shot. Lots think they can outrun a person at point blank, and such. And I just think that needs to change. People need to understand they can't win all the time, there will be times when they're the ones being killed, beaten, and ect.
Also, I been seeing players around simply pulling out a gun to someone's face in the public. Something people need to start thinking wisely about. Since in real life when your wondering around your neighborhood or crowded areas, its unlikely to see a gun all of a sudden. That's all I gotta say.

Fear is a survival instinct to you know. A lot of disadvantage if you miss it.

Re: Fear.
IRL you might give everything you have on a gunpoint even if the gun has 1 bullet but IG people instead /b-itch or just do /me runs away or /me punches his face etc.
So this is something which has to be added in the rules.

Re: Fear.
One of my favorite things in SA-MP RP has always been when one character starts shooting at another and the player getting shot at starts sprinting around at full speed and running away to exploit the fact that it's difficult to kill someone in game. Thankfully, fist to gun is against rules here so you don't get people charging up to you and just beating you to death while you had a gun.

Re: Fear.
I would like to make a small caveat here, though. I am almost afraid to write this because I can just see all the people taking this the wrong way and thinking I just gave people permission to godmode. However, guns are not scary just because they're scary. Most people will be terrified at the sight of one because they're not Rocky Balboa the Ninja Terminator Werewolf, however it is perfectly possible to disarm an amateur thief if they're robbing you incorrectly.
I won't describe in detail how or in what situations because I don't want to encourage people to go around and say that "my character is smart enough to know that derp derp." If you want to find out and have a good reason for it, you could PM me- but I'd recommend you do the research yourself if you're so interested and your character could pull it off.
Mind, it takes more than just knowing. I know and have been trained in disarming anything from bats to knives to guns. However, I have no idea what would happen if some guy in the city pulled me into an alley, shoved me against a wall and put a gun up to me to demand my wallet. I might know how to do a disarm perfectly but I do not know if I would be able to do it if I am taken out of my element and surprised like that. Robbers also don't give you much time to think because they shout and threaten you to break your concentration.
Final note before I finish off this message- to go with that concentration thing. When you're getting robbed and you have a guy with a gun shouting "GIVE ME YOUR FUCKING MONEY NOW ALL OF IT SHUT THE FUCK UP." you don't have thirty seconds to type a message in real life. You have quarters of a second and you're acting before you even know what you're doing. You don't get to sit there and carefully, strategically plan a course of action like this is chess.

The thing is someone pulls a gun to you irl you have to make a consious desision is your wallet worth your life? Answer is no so you hand over your wallet even if your a big guy why risk your life for a small amount of cash and vis versa if a cop has you at gun point you would no he would shoot if you don't follow his orders becuase the officer wont risk his life to be honest i think anyone who just /me runs away you should just be able to /me shot guy in back of head as he turns around
People just need to loose there egos and grow up its a game and roleplay losing is part of it you don't always have to win.

Re: Fear.
Wallet vs. life is a little bit less of an issue if you know what you're doing. I've known plenty of people who have had attempted muggings and were able to turn the situation on the thief. I'm not encouraging people to RP that because, hey, then everyone will be that "one guy" and all RP will continue to be exactly like it is now- a clusterfuck of "no I win" "no I success" "no I victor."
I've got plenty of cool tips and tricks for robbers to be that much more successful. If someone is a legitimate criminal on this server, not some "super cool werewolf looking to pick up some extra cash," they can always PM me for some tips/tricks/advice.

Robbers tip = Shoot the fucker.
Victim's tip = Follow whatever the robber says like the normal human being held at gunpoint that you are.

Re: Fear.
I'd hope that's not advice to robbers. We need less shootings happening. Very few robbers shoot their target. For many reasons. Mostly because if you get caught for armed robbery, it's a bad sentence already. Add attempted murder or second degree murder to that and you're a dangerous and armed criminal who is either going to jail for life or getting shot by an officer-- or both. Plus, shooting someone causes a lot of noise and leaves a lot of evidence whether they live or die.

And each bullet costs 1 dollar! *Poorface*

Depends on which ammo you're using.
Anyway...
Well, I was not talking about robbing/mugging and aiming weapons only but for other situations where someone should Roleplay fear. For example, an person threating you which is rather... dangerous itself. Or if you're RPing that your character is aware of the danger and the possible consequences but still trying to solve things out. And yeah, Fear can be positive thing as well. It makes you think faster and do things faster since your heart beats faster and that crap... Tho' it doesn't means you're ready to do something ultra retarded and get yourself outta' situation in zero seconds.

Re: Fear.
That's sort of true. People think this is some modern warfare shit and they can punch the guy and take the gun away easily. BUT, it's not hard to take a gun away when he/she is close to you. By the way, it's not so easy to shoot and actually hit the person with the bullets. Unless it's a machine gun.
