Welcome to the fishing guide that will assist you in preparing yourself and being able to understand what must be done in order to fish properly.

First off you need to go to a 24/7 or general store and purchase: (( /buy ))
1) Fishing tools, costing $50 (( Fishing rod and fishing bucket )) and
2) Worms, which cost $1 per worm.

Fishing Guide Samp027x

After buying these two items you head down to the broken pier right below the bridge at the entrance of Palomino. Be sure you are at the marker or you won’t be able to fish. Once in the right position you may begin to fish by using the /fish command.

When you are fishing you may catch a variety of fish or money. At times you will cast your fishing rod and retrieve no fish or money and you may lose the worm and at times you may not catch anything but still have the worm on the fishing rod. After you have caught 15 fish your bucket will become full, you may see how many fish you have caught by using the command, /showbucket [your id].

When your bucket is full you then need to sell the fish you have caught by going to Montgomery and behind the building, doing the command /sellfish. Now please note that the number for pounds (( lbs. )) you have for the 15 fish is the amount of money you will receive, meaning 1 lb. = $1, example. 85 lbs. = $85 you will receive.

After this you may return to the wooden pier and begin fishing again, AFTER the five minutes you have to wait after doing the /sellfish command.

Please note that if you don't have the pool cue out then you won't be able to check your bucket, fish or sell the fish

Now you can fish everywhere on the sea as long as you're on a boat or on a Skimmer. You can carry up to 25 fish in your bucket if you're fishing from a boat. Boats can be bought at the vehicle dealership in Montgomery.

It spawns outside the tunnel from Palomino, in the water.

You cannot buy the fishing tools in the general stores anymore. "Fishing Store" businesses sell fish equipment now. You can find one in Palomino Creek, near the fishing pier.
