WHAT THE NATIONAL GUARD WILL DO
The national Guard's responsibilities will range from assisting in disasters, aiding in capturing wanted criminals, search and rescue, terrorist attacks, possible bombs, enforcing the law when the local Sheriffs Department needs assistance, developing weapons and helping train law enforcement.
((Basically, we'll be helping in certain events, helping with the most wanted, search and rescue roleplays, Red Vinegar, roleplaying developing advanced and powerful weapons and testing bombs, and patrolling the city when no cops are on.))

RANKS

Private(1):

Private, once someone has passed the application process, they will come to the base to be properly trained.

PFC(2):

Once a Private has been trained and passed the final stages, he will be promoted to Private First Class. He will then be allowed to join departments.(Will be discussed below)

Corporal(3):

Once a Private First Class has shown skill and promise, he will be promoted to Corporal, giving him the Second in command position of his squad and allowing him to join advanced departments.

Sergeant(4):

Once a corporal has shown exceptional skill and professionalism he will be promoted to Sergeant. The Sergeant will then be assigned a squad and will be allowed to lead a department.

Captain(5):

Once the Sergeant has been in the National Guard for a very long time, showing leadership and extensive maturity, he will be promoted to Captain. A Captain is assigned a Battalion which he will oversee, he can also promote any units that are in his battalion.

General(6):

There can be only one General, he is in charge of everything that happens in the Company, he can promote and demote anyone, and when someone is promoted to Captain, he leads the ceremony.

DEPARTMENTS
Departments are the National Guards special units, they range from air support, snipers, armored battalion, etc. They assist the National Guard's normal soldiers when needed.

AIR SUPPORT (Make blue)
The most important department is air support, they are in charge of everything from taking out enemies
soldiers cant, helivacing injured soldiers, dropping soldiers into battle zones, picking up soldiers and finally, running air strikes. The vehicles to be used for this are:

The AH-64 Super Cobra ((Hunter)), the department will have 2, the only people that can fly these are specially trained pilots, and will only be used in disasters or terrorist attacks.

Harrier AV-8B Harrier II ((Hydra)) The department will have two, these are the best vehicles in the guard, it takes a lot of training and only the best of the best will be allowed to drive them.

MH-53 ((Cargobob)), this is mainly used for transporting troops and supplies, once someone has passed the basic training of the Air Support, he will be allowed to fly this, however it is only used in disasters or when troops need supplies. The department has 3 of these.

MH-6 ((Sparrow)) this is the beginning chopper, when someone joins the department, this is what is used for training, for safety reasons, the helicopter is only equipped with a 30mm machine gun, which will be used on targets for weapons training. The department has four.

UH-60 Blackhawk ((Raindance)). Multipurpose helicopter, any unit in the Air Support division can use this.

ARMORED DIVISION
The most powerful ground support, the armored battalion generally drives the M1 Abrams heavy tank. They normally do not get used so anyone who is in the armored division is also assigned to a battalion, being pulled out and put into a tank when needed.

BASE PATROL
This is the most basic yet needed department, any rank can join base patrol, and the only thing they do is patrol the outer base, and make sure nobody in trespassing. If they do find someone on base, they fire warning shots, then shoot to kill.


ARMORY AND BASIC GEAR
These will be the weapons that are available for the troops, including specialty weapons.

M4A1 assault rifle((M4)), this is the basic assault rifle for all the National Guard troops, once you join you are issued your uniform and gear, this along with your sidearm is what you keep on you at all times.

M9 handgun ((Deagle)), this is the basic sidearm for National Guard troops, the soldier carries one in a leg holster, using it only when needed.

Benelli M4 Combat Shotgun((Combat shotgun)). This is given to Sergeants for close quarters battle, it can also be used for breaching doors.

M14 scoped ((Sniper)). Standard issue for snipers.

M67 Frag grenade((Grenade)) Issued to Corporals and above, used for combat situations.

Combat knife((Knife)). Issued to all soldiers, they generally keep in in a ankle holster, using it for close quarters and utility purposes.

RULES

IC
-Obey higher ranks.
-Follow orders.
-Be mature and professional at all times.
-Never leave someone behind.
-DO NOT drive vehicles that you are not allowed to at ANY time under ANY circumstance, immediate discharge if you do.
-Treat your weapon with care and never fool around.

OOC
-Follow all server rules.
-Do not drive any vehicles you're not allowed to. (OOC enforced as well.)

REQUIREMENTS

-Must be over 21 and under 40
-Experience will greatly increase your chances.
-Must be able to deal with stressful situations.
-Must be able to follow rules and respect authority.
-Knowledge of the city. ((Level 2 and up.))
-Be in good health.
-Have a clean record.
COMMANDS
/ngduty – This will toggle your duty, giving you the basic weapons.

/ng – Will open up the menu, allowing you to change your skin, get weapons, ect.

/psa – Will allow rank 4 and up to send a message to the inhabitants of Red County through their radio, generally alerting people of terrorist attacks and things like that.

/gate – Once the Area 51 base has been scripted, this will open the gate to gain access to the base.

Due to this being a LEO faction, I would like to have all other commands the SD has.

VEHICLES

x2 Hunter – Used by the best of the best pilots.

x2 Hydra – Same as Hunter, only available to high ranking pilots.

x3 Cargobob – Used for heavy transport, used by almost any air support pilot.

x4 Sparrow – Used for training air support units, usable by any pilots.

X3 Rhino – Used ONLY by Sergeants and above, if you abuse them you will be OOCLY kicked and permabanned from the faction, along with the server rule charges.

x2 Barracks – Used for ground cargo transport and troop transport.

x5 Patriot – Basic vehicles for soldiers, any units can drive these.

Well, maybe there was some kind of team or group that can enforce the server rules, maybe punish people who break them, and just maybe, they can deal with people abusing the vehicles.

Not really much happens that needs a big thought out idea like this...
and I mean... Palomino is a small area anyway.. Cops can handle most of what goes on,

And if you're talking about most wanted stuff, like assassins/hitmen, and all the threats you say, trust me... there is already something being done about it. But I won't say anything more then that. So don't ask...

Because I closed the non-abusive national guard faction for the reason that will be shortened to sum up to say; There isn't enough players, and it needs a recruitment system that is fool proof. If I was active, there would be a national guard faction that would be RPed right. I'm not saying that because I made it first, I get to close this. I'm saying, I haven't the confidence that this will be adequately carried out fairly (a general to look over a squad?). To much juristriction as well, I think this would of given the excuse to members to patrol anywhere, which is not allowed.
In short, I don't hold this attempt in any high respect, because there are some major flaws in the current draft. No support at all from me (the previous national guard runner)

And really.. all these BIG ideas, to focus on a small town..
Base all out in the middle of LV? No... not needed as it won't be playing a big role in the server anyway, meaning you couldn't just be on duty if you wanted to, NG are only called in if some shit can't be handled by local law enforcment, meaning you don't really need a big entire base, as most of the stuff can be SD controlled.

All these vehicles? No... even if it was implemented, you wouldn't need basically any of these vehicles, like 1 patriot is realistic. and.. Hydra, Hunter and Rhino? We already have enough trouble dealing with Deathmatch reports.

There is already an IC job to deal with such priorities as threats etc, that won't be explained.

It most definitely seems like you moved on to another faction, taking an old suggestive faction that was deemed too abusive.. and making it your own, so you could hopefully gain some power if it got Implemented.

This faction is locked until otherwise stated.
