Regarding Current Weapons Licenses, a letter from the State of San Andreas
Dear Citizens of San Andreas,
The Federal Court of San Andreas
It has come to the state's attention that the current situation with weapons in the various cities of the city has reached a point that is unbearable and dangerous to the security of our nation and its citizens. Weapons licenses have been misused, abused, and there are a high level of unregistered and illegal firearms currently out in the hands of criminals that have been obtained through the previous, relaxed weapons laws.
As noted in the State Firearm Regulations law regarding Weapons Licenses under clause 256.33, segment 19 which reads:…in the event of situations of national emergency or in critical reconstruction of the applications and filing process of public carry clearance licenses, the state of San Andreas, its courts, and local departments with permission of a two-thirds assembly vote, are allowed to, without hesitation, discontinue all outstanding licenses if, under that same motion, they intend to still distribute licenses.
All outstanding licenses of any clearance level are hereby expired and no individual may purchase or carry firearms using an old license. Any attempts to do so will result in the individual being tried to the fullest extent of the law for the illegal purchase or carry of their weaponry and it will be revoked.
If any individual would like a public carry license of any clearance level, they must follow through the new and improved path of application. Unfortunately, license processing and registration fees will not be refunded to those who have had their license expire and the state of San Andreas would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, if you had a valid San Andreas weapons license that had just expired, you may be eligible for a reduced registration fee depending on the timeliness of your reapplication. If you apply within the month of August and apply for the same clearance level of your old, expired weapons license, you will only be charged a flat rate of $500 for the Registration fee for a level 1 reinstatement and a flat rate of $1000 for a level 2 reinstatement. Applications received in September will no longer allow for this.
The new and improved system will hopefully bring in a new, safer era to the state of San Andreas and its citizens.
Signed,
Thomas J. Woodham
