Corruption Rule Empty Corruption Rule

Post by Marcus Campbell Thu Jun 09, 2011 9:15 pm

Well many may disagree with me other won't i guess...Here goes.

I have read the rule of that Corruption is an OOC rule..I think it's NON-RP.Because irl there are always corrupted cops..Bank workers..Medics..

Actually imo it would improve the RP a bit more if the Corruption rule was an IC rule.

I think you shouldn't be faction-kicked when officers know about your corruption OOCly and fire you ICly.Anyway people tell me what you think.

Not medics. Cops, maby, but not medics.
We've had corrupted medics before and they corrupt the RP.

As much as I do agree to that there's another fact. SD has too much responsibility. They can ticket, jail someone and if there is no OOC rule to control that then cops will start arresting for things that aren't even laws but just based on their assumptions. That wouldn't be fair to the other players paying the fines and being the victims. They have too much power for it to be abused basically. It will make them feel too free, same with the people in power like Sergeants/Lts(They are usually around the others) and a lot of mistakes would be done with the arrests for no real reasons and they would always get away with it.

It might be fixed a little but if its removed it leads to other problems like this. But if there are things as trials before a person is arrested, by people who actually know all the laws, maybe this could be done.

Yeah but there are always cops who are still loyal to the force so if a loyal officer spots corruption he can tell the Sheriff and the corrupted officer would be fired and even jailed depending on what kind of coruption that has been made.Because i don't think it's very much RP When cops get finds about corruption oocly and the fire you ICly.

Medic can be corrupt IF the medic is a vampire or a slave to the vampire . For example , he(the medic) takes a blood pack , open it and pour it into the cup then starts to drink it . Example for the slave is they steal blood pack and brings it to his sire .

I don't have fact about humans btw . Very Happy

Not as long as they are not well informed on their job. OOC rule is to make SD follow the laws originally as much as they can. But as I said it can be modified.

Medics can be corrupt I think yes. But SD deals with things like the law which is a delicate matter.

The world is not a fair place period and in reality there are assholes who will try and fuck you over the first chance they get. I think SD should use IC tactics and rules to prevent corruption, not resort to OOC which makes no sense.

SD isn't City Marked RPly..

Just imagine that SD can RPly find out who is corrupted or not.

So basically corrupted ones are going out for RP reason.

Disagreed.
